The basic working principle of EPS is:

Usually the capacity of the EPS charger is only equivalent to 10% of the battery pack capacity (Ah). It only needs to provide the battery pack float charge or supplementary power function, and does not need to have the ability to directly provide DC power to the inverter. At this time, the mains power supplies power to the user's emergency load through the mutual switching device in the EPS. At the same time, under the control of the EPS system controller, the inverter stops working and automatically shuts down. The user load actually uses the grid power supply at this time. ⑵ When the input mains power supply is interrupted or the mains voltage exceeds the limit (±15% or ±20% of the rated input voltage), the system controller commands the mutual switching device to switch to the inverter within a short period of (0.1~4) S The EPS system supplies power to user loads with the support of DC energy provided by the battery pack.

⑶ When the input mains voltage returns to normal operation, the EPS system controller issues an instruction to shut down the inverter, and also performs a switching operation from the inverter power supply to the AC bypass power supply through the mutual switching switch. After that, the EPS provides mains power to the load through the AC bypass power supply path, and at the same time continues to charge its battery pack through the rectifier charger.
